Michael Buble celebrates opening of new housing development
Michael Buble and former Vancouver Canuck coach and general manager Pat Quinn were all smiles at the launch event for the Tsawwassen Springs development last Thursday, according to Surrey Now.
The $400 million, 490-home subdivision is based at the Tsawwassen Golf Course. Businessman Ron Toigo, Shato Holdings managing director, brought the celebrity investors into the fold in order to raise the development's profile before the units go on sale and people start moving in, the South Delta Leader reports. Shato is responsible for the construction of the new property. "One of the big strengths my father knew and passed on to us was that you're only as good as the people you surround yourself with," Toigo told the Leader. "This development is no different." Toigo said there has been a growing number of people that are interested in moving into the freshly completed first phase of 55 condos overlooking the new golf course, according to Surrey Now. The development is being marketed to potential tenants as high quality resort living. The community will eventually include a 32,000 square foot clubhouse, a fitness center and spa, restaurant, pub, banquet facility, outdoor skating rink, tennis court and neighborhood store and cafe, the media outlet reports.
