Luxury suites in Chicago offer a cushy lifestyle in one of the country's top cities
A new complex in the Windy City will allow residents to live in luxury while also giving them access to several environmentally-friendly amenities.
Moving to the development at 215 West Washington Street in Chicago might be attractive to eco-conscious tenants because the entire complex was built using "green" building techniques, said developer Jupiter Realty Company. At 50 stories tall, the building offers 389 apartments ranging from studio size to three-bedroom units that have been outfitted with energy-efficient appliances and water-saving plumbing fixtures, said the company. Residents would also have access to a state-of-the-art fitness center, media and game rooms, a massage therapy location, and business and library offices. "We have enjoyed a strong response from the community. Move-ins began April 1 and we are excited to welcome residents to 215 West," said Kellie DeVilbiss whose company, Jupiter Communities, will manage the property. "We are confident that our unique blend of luxurious, sustainable features and amenities will continue to attract residents to premier living inside The Loop." Moving into an apartment often means downsizing one's possessions and getting rid of many old items. Transporting those possessions to their new apartment could be made easier by renting a small pod unit.
