Many celebrities making major real estate moves

A number of famous celebrities are buying, selling or moving into new properties, according to Extra.

The news source reports that recently divorced pop singer Christina Aguilera is selling her $13.5 million home in Beverly Hills. The home, famously featured on Ozzy Osbourne's reality show "The Osbournes," was purchased from the legendary rock artist in 2007. According to Hollywood rumors, the Osbournes may be interested in re-purchasing the home, the source says.

According to the source, actor Kelsey Grammer, also recently divorced and remarried, is selling a few of his properties. Grammer has reportedly put his 6-bedroom 8,500-square-foot Colorado mountain home on the market for $7.9 million, and his Hampton's horse ranch for $10 million. Grammer is widely known to have numerous homes.

Finally, actress Hillary Swank has purchased a mansion in the Pacific Palisades. The source says the 5-bedroom, 7-bathroom home cost about $4 million.

According to recent reports by DataQuick, despite a struggling housing market, sales of homes above the one-million-dollar price point increased in all major metropolitan areas in 2010.
