Mississippi horse farm will be auctioned July 17

Homebuyers have the unique opportunity to move into a 76-acre Mississippi horse farm.

The Starkville property will be sold at an absolute auction July 17 at 11 a.m. on location at the Cane Creek Farm on 2552 New Light Road. Interested buyers could fetch the home for a greatly reduced price.

A six-stall show barn is attached to the main building, with an additional three-stall barn and a two-bedroom caretaker's building also located on the grounds. There are also livestock ponds and a large fishing lake, as well as a mill building and water wheel.

Absolute auctions are when the highest bidder acquires the property regardless of price, often providing an opportunity for a homebuyer to move into a new location for much less money.
