A 76-acre horse farm in Mississippi has hit the market
Homebuyers have the unique opportunity to move into a 76-acre Mississippi horse farm.
The Starkville property will be sold at an absolute auction July 17 at 11 a.m. on location at the Cane Creek Farm on 2552 New Light Road. Interested buyers could fetch the home for a greatly reduced price. "Today's market conditions and the auction format allow sellers and buyers to come to a meeting of the minds quickly with a competitively achieved fair market value," said auctioneer Mike Fisher, CEO of United Country - The Redfield Group. Cane Creek comes with a 3,200 square foot three-bedroom, three-bath home. The master bedroom features a large fireplace and the floor plan includes a great room, dining room, kitchen and loft. A six-stall show barn is attached to the main building, with an additional three-stall barn and a two-bedroom caretaker's building also located on the grounds. There are also livestock ponds and a large fishing lake, as well as a mill building and water wheel. Absolute auctions are when the highest bidder acquires the property regardless of price, often providing an opportunity for a homebuyer to move into a new location for much less money.
