Luxury apartments in Cincinnati will help revitalize part of that city
The area around the intersection of Freedom Drive and Morehead Street in Cincinnati had fallen into a state of disrepair.
Many businesses had abandoned the district, and drugs and prostitution activity had become rampant, said a police officer interviewed by Cincinnati's WSOC. But the area's remaining business owners committed to a revitalization plan, and through new restaurants and developments, the newly-renamed Freemore West district is a burgeoning success story. A new apartment complex will add to that progress, and allow tenants to move into a fast-growing part of the city, said WSOC. Wesley Village will be an upscale luxury apartment complex that offers on-site amenities like a swimming pool and dog park, as well as a business lounge for its residents, said WSOC. Community businesses welcome the new complex as the latest of several area improvements. Such neighborhood revitalization projects can offer interesting opportunities for people who are considering moving. Purchasing a fixer-upper at a discounted rate can offer a homebuyer a renovation project, or moving into a luxury apartment such as Wesley Village can help spur local commercial activity and contribute to an area's growth.
