New apartments will rejuvenate Cincinnati neighborhood

The area around the intersection of Freedom Drive and Morehead Street in Cincinnati had fallen into a state of disrepair.

Many businesses had abandoned the district, and drugs and prostitution activity had become rampant, said a police officer interviewed by Cincinnati's WSOC. But the area's remaining business owners committed to a revitalization plan, and through new restaurants and developments, the newly-renamed Freemore West district is a burgeoning success story. A new apartment complex will add to that progress, and allow tenants to move into a fast-growing part of the city, said WSOC.

Wesley Village will be an upscale luxury apartment complex that offers on-site amenities like a swimming pool and dog park, as well as a business lounge for its residents, said WSOC. Community businesses welcome the new complex as the latest of several area improvements.
