Zillow Launches iPhone App Zillow Mortgage Marketplace

Today, Zillow, an online real estate marketplace, launched the Zillow Mortgage Marketplace iPhone App which allows iPhone users to calculate mortgage payments and receive personalized loan quotes.

The Seattle-based company’s application helps borrowers calculate what they can afford, predict their monthly payments, and understand their financing options. After submitting some basic, unidentifiable information, borrowers can compare about 25 loan quotes, and directly contact lenders from the convenience of their iPhone.

Zillow expects the iPhone application to act as an extension of the Zillow Mortgage Marketplace website which provides users with the same lender and financing information. For the month of May, the company reported 21 homes per second were viewed on Zillow’s marketplace from consumers’ mobile devices.

Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff said that the iPhone app illustrates the company’s commitment to providing the best real estate tools and data throughout every stage of the home buying process at the convenience of your fingertips.
