AmeriLithium's move will improve access to two nearby airports
A Nevada lithium miner announced that it will move its base operations.
AmeriLithium, previously based near Lake Tahoe, will relocate south to Henderson, a city just outside Las Vegas. The new location will offer easy access to two nearby airports - McCarron International and Henderson Executive - as well as increased facilities and services in the developing Henderson area, said CEO Matthew Worrall. "We decided to relocate due to the ease of access for several members our team," he said. "The move also allows us to be in a position to develop the office and team for the next stages of the companies' development." The new headquarters will shrink the distance between the company and its three nearby mining projects in Clayton Valley, Esmeralda County, and Nye County. The company expects improved telecommunications, boardroom and staff facilities at its new office. Company officials approved the new site during a visit last week. Worrall predicted that the transition will be completed within the next two weeks. Businesses often relocate based on operating costs, work force issues, proximity to customers, taxes, or a desire to upgrade facilities, reported Area Development magazine.
