Ashton Kutcher puts bachelor-pad up for sale

Members of the Ashton Kutcher fan club who have fantasized about moving in with him may get a chance at the next best thing, according to Zillow Blog. Kutcher has put his two-story bachelor-pad in Hollywood Hills up for sale with a $2.6 million price tag, the real estate site reported.

Kutcher is using proceeds from the home sale and a celebrity showcase of the home to donate towards the non-profit organization he shares with wife Demi Moore. The Demi and Ashton Foundation, known as DNA, raises awareness about child sex slavery and uses funds to help rehabilitate ex-victims of the crime. In conjunction with Gilt Los Angeles, Kutcher intends to hold private tours of the home at a $250 per ticket price, and donate the funds to his foundation. The home will be staged by five interior designers in preparation for the tours.

Kutcher had purchased the home for $1 million, but performed extensive renovations, including adding an additional 1,233 square feet to the 2,002 square foot home. The four bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom home has an open floor plan and includes an outdoor infinity spa, which pours over into an infinity pool.

When Kutcher's home sells, it will join the increasing number of houses being purchased in Southern California. The region saw an increase in home sales in December, up 20.5 percent from the month before, according to Reuters.
