Carmelo Anthony's time in Denver could soon be over
It could be that Denver Nuggets basketball star Carmelo Anthony is anticipating a move in the near future.

The small forward's recent real estate move added some fuel to the discussion that he may be considering opting out of his contract and leaving Denver next offseason. Anthony's Littleton, Colorado, mansion has hit the market for $9.5 million, according to real estate website Zillow.com. The sprawling home was built in 2002 and occupies 21,083 square feet in the Polo Ridge Estates gated community. The mansion includes eight bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, a 54-foot pool, a music studio and a home theater, said the report.

Anthony was part of the famous 2003 NBA draft class that included Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Those three recently joined together to form a dream team of sorts on the Miami Heat. Some analysts have speculated that their partnership may inspire Anthony to leave Denver and start his own super-team on the New York Knicks. He has two years left on his contract with the Nuggets and recently chose not to sign a three-year extension, reported the Denver Post.

Moving to New York would also unite Anthony with their the team's new free-agent pick-up from this past offseason, Amar'e Stoudemire.
