The former first daughter put her Baltimore home on the market so she can relocate to New York City.
Jenna Bush is leaving Baltimore to live the New York dream, according to the Washington Post.
The former first daughter and her husband, Henry Hager, have already hired a moving company, reported the Baltimore Sun. The couple have put their nineteenth century two-story rowhouse up for sale at an asking price of $474,900, the Sun said, and a neighbor reported seeing an unmarked moving truck in front of the home. Bush and Hager bought the house, located in historic Federal Hill, for $440,000 in 2008. The Washington Post said Bush decided to make the move to be closer to twin sister Barbara, who lives in Manhattan and is head of the Global Health Corps foundation, and to do more stories for The Today Show, where Bush has worked as a periodic Washington, D.C. correspondent. Hager is employed by Constellation Energy, a Baltimore-based company that he will continue to work with, both the Sun and Post reported. Bush and Hager were married at the Bush's Crawford, Texas ranch in May 2008, according to AOL news. Costing about $100,000, the wedding was significantly less expensive than that of fellow first daughter Chelsea Clinton, whose July nuptials was rang in at an estimated $2 million. More News |
