Philadelphia is home to more than just history
For people who are moving to a new city, understanding how their new neighbors operate, the best places to visit and the area's population density can change how easily someone adapts, according to CNN. Philadelphia is not only the city of brotherly love, it is home to some of the finest restaurants, shops and sports teams in the country, according to the news source. The city is famous for their cheese stake sandwiches and claims to be the birthplace of graffiti. The city, like many others that were built in the 1600's, was originally constructed to be maneuvered on foot, so getting around it without a car is highly feasible, according to the source. The number of new residents to Philadelphia has been on a steady increase over the past two years, according to The Associated Press. "These changes in migration patterns are significant, and they have gone largely unnoticed," Larry Eichel, project director of Pew's Philadelphia Research Initiative and the report's author, told ABC News. Speculation that Philadelphia has become a popular relocation destination for New Yorkers, because of its close proximity to the city, is supported by these findings, according to the news source.
