Crow will sell her $7.5 million Tennessee farm
Country music singer Sheryl Crow is on the move.
The Grammy Award-winning singer has put her 150-acre Tennessee farm on the market for $7.5 million, reported the Associated Press. Crow bought the estate in 2008, wanting to return to her roots and be closer to her sister and family in Missouri, said the article. She lived at the farm with her adopted son, Wyatt. The farm is solar powered and designed to reduce energy costs by 42 percent, reported real estate website Zillow.com. The three-story, 10,000-square foot main building features five bedrooms, a media room, and a music studio. Other amenities included a guest home, a salt-water pool and hot tub, nanny quarters, and a 14-stall horse barn and indoor riding area, according to the reports. It's unclear where Crow is headed next, though she had originally moved to Tennessee from Los Angeles, reported Zillow.com. If she does relocate to Southern California, Crow would add to the increased number of home sales in high-end neighborhoods being reported by real estate researchers MD DataQuick. Last month, sales on homes that cost over $500,000 rose 33.8 percent from May 2009.
