Tiger Woods will soon be moving into his new home in Jupiter, Flordia, complete with a practice range.
Tiger Woods is planning to move into a new home in Jupiter, Florida, complete with a designated golf practice area, according to AFP.
The champion golfer, who currently lives in Orlando, began purchasing the property in 2006, according to the source. The home has been in development since then, but Woods reported that it will be ready for him to move into "pretty soon." The home will have a game practice facility that Woods himself helped design over 3 1/2 acres of land behind the home, the source says. "It features four greens, six bunkers with different depths and kinds of sand, a video center and a putting studio," Woods said. "If no wind is blowing, the longest club I can hit is a 7-iron. It's also set up so I can hit shots out of my second-story studio," Woods told fans in his web newsletter. The two story, 10,000-square-foot Jupiter Island estate is rumored to have cost Woods about $50 million, according to TCPalm. Some analysts are waiting to see if this move has any bearing on Tiger Woods' recent struggles in tournaments. Woods failed to record a victory in 2010 for the first time in his career, according to the Wall Street Journal. More News |
